Antique/vintage hand tooled enameled SNUFF PILL COMPACT ROUND BOX

Description

Vintage silver round enamel snuff, pill, cosmetic box with hand tooling, cobalt enamel, and top lid with small jewels
Supposedly this little box was made in the 1880s. There is, as far as I can tell, no maker's mark or sterling.
I cannot guarantee that it is sterling. It was purchased with the belief that it was.
It's a well made constructed hand made box.
It has interior gold wash.
The hinge works well and the box closes with a snap.
There's hand tooling to the silver metal all around the box and
dark blue enameled panels on the sides.
The lid has fixed on it a glass-like round piece with a metal floral bouquet on top with mini jewels in it. A couple are missing.
There's an area that is visible on the inside of the box base where the hinge attaches that appears damaged but it may have been made this way as the lid is securely attached and does not wobble when opened.
Measures about 1.625" across x .625" high
