    Description

Exceptional Antique Sterling Silver Pill Box
    Continental * Circa 1900s
This little silver pill box is of exceptional quality. The top has a hand engraved vase spilling over with flowers and scrolling leaves. The top slides back and the interior is all gilded. There is a round hole in the corner to dispense a small pill, or larger pills can be accessed by sliding the top further back. It is marked "925" for sterling silver and it has a tiny ship's wheel maker's mark.
The condition is excellent with no dents or other damage and it closes very securely when the top slides closed. It measures slightly over 1 3/4" x 1 3/8" and is incredibly heavy for its size, 35.9 grams.
